WHAT SHOULD WE BRING ON THE TRIP?
What to wear:
During the warmer months, June, July, and August the typical attire is shorts, t-shirts, sandals, and flip flops. Bring along, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Be prepared to get wet and dress according to your comfort level. We suggest wearing clothes that dry quickly and perhaps steer away from denim pants or shorts and leather footwear.
If you have an extended car ride planned after a trip, consider bringing an extra set of clothes – just in case – to ensure a comfortable trip to your next destination.
Accessories: Sunglasses: Every year, hundreds of jet boat riders involuntarily sacrifice their sunglasses to the Atlantic Ocean . Wear eye wear retainers, especially on your prescriptions or newly acquired designer shades. JetBoatRide sells or rents sunglasses onsite.
Hats: Don’t leave home without one, but also don’t leave it in the Rogue Atlantic. Hat retainers work….usually.
Identification, cash and credit card: Handy for jet boat captain gratuity. Please leave pocketbooks, backpacks, and beach bags secured in your vehicle.
Electronic Devices: Many people bring cameras and cell phones, however, due to the nature of our trips, large amounts of water are possible. All items are brought at your own risk.
Food, Beverage and other: Smoking and alcohol is prohibited on the jet boats, on/at the loading dock or parking lot area. Glass containers, coolers/ice chests and also prohibited as they create a safety hazard during spins.
